4/22/2013 ~ Wow ~ it's been a long time since my last collection and I am so pleased to bring you **Shine a Light** Collection 2013. There are so many amazing Spirit Driven Items in this collection.

I really want to thank those of you who have stuck with me thru this new direction in my work. I feel blessed to be able to do what I love while honoring the one who loves me! I know some of you may wonder why I am now a Jesus Freak! Yep I certainly am and very proud to be.

I would love to explain. I spent so much of my life knowing and feeling so strongly that there was more to life than what appeared on the surface of our society. I searched thru many spiritual and new age paths looking for a connection to the Divine. From the beauty of nature to the life of a child I could see there was something higher that was calling me but no matter what I tried I couldn't feel that connection I longed for (unless on drugs and that doesn't count) Thru a series of events I was lead to Jesus by a divine hand. When I read scriptures in full context and understood the message of love and truth I felt honored to surrender my life over to Jesus. It was in that moment that I felt the presence of God. This feeling was the most powerful energy of love I have ever felt. It was so intense it literally brought me to my knees and to tears of joy, freedom, and love. I was truly set free from all the doubts, fears, etc I had struggled with for so long.

I have sense then continued in deepening my spiritual journey with a knowing that there is truth there. There is reality there. I have a freedom and a peace I never felt thru all the other religious and spiritual paths I tried before. Those paths had only left me feeling confused (like everyone else got it but me) and like I was just not Spiritual enough. With Jesus I feel blessed, convicted to do better with the power to do it, changed and grateful and the very best part is I am able to pour these feelings out onto others which is exactly what his message preaches.

I know from my own experience with Christianity, that it gets a bad rap and there are a ton of people preaching without practicing which leaves a bad reputation for the message. Lots of people (and I was one of them) would assume they knew what the message was without ever reading the bible in context. I know in the past I would dismiss something I didn't even know or understand. I highly recommend just reading the new testament in full before dismissing the amazing Love and Freedom and truth of the Message Jesus brings.

I totally do not want to force my beliefs on anyone and I respect everyone's choices but I can not help but have this freedom, love, and peace pour forth into my work so please don't dismiss me as an artist because I put that love into my work!! I promise not to judge you if you don't judge me. My work just now shows the love that has been shown to me!I am always up for chatting on these matters! May you all be blessed with this love!

~ For this collection I will donate 10% off all profits to Freedom Food Pantry in hopes to help a bit! So far we have raised over $1270 for charity since July 2010! I will continue to donate 10% of all web site sales profits to different charities ~
